Adoptable Dog: Ivy

Ivy is ready for her new home! She a is full blooded blue nose pit without papers who is on the smaller side, about 55 pounds, born May 23rd, 2015. She is not yet spayed and will be adopted out on a spay contract only. Ivy is great with people of all ages and good with other dogs. She is crate-trained and house-trained and is respectful when walked on a leash and would also do well on a large property with or without a fence. She cannot live with cats, but is great with livestock including chickens. She is recently recovered from a yeast infection that covered her body during her pregnancy and nursing — this is a normal occurrence and she has been treated! She is healthy now, but her hair in still growing back in in a few places. 🙂 She will also gain a few more pounds!

There is a required adoption application for her and her rehoming fee is $75.

  1. How does the “spay contract” work? How do you know they actually do it? Do you like follow up or something?

    1. Yes! We follow up with all our pets regardless of whether or not they are already spayed/neutered before adoption, but in the case of unaltered pets, we do follow up with paperwork or a call to the vet!
